Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at nicole@culinarycreativesnj.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

I offer classes for toddlers (ages 2–4), kids (5–10), tweens/teens (11–15), and adults. Each class is tailored to the developmental level of the group.

I travel to your location! Classes are fully portable and designed to work in libraries, schools, rec centers, and more. I bring all ingredients and materials.

Most classes run about 60 minutes. Series-based classes may extend slightly depending on content and age group.

Most classes are designed for up to 10–12 participants to allow for a hands-on experience. Larger groups may be accommodated with advance notice and additional support.

Yes! I bring everything needed for class, including ingredients, tools, and equipment.

A table or surface for prepping is helpful, and access to a sink is great but not required. If your site has a stove or oven, I can incorporate cooked recipes too!

To ensure availability, I recommend booking at least 6-8 weeks in advance, especially for series or peak seasons (summer, back-to-school, holidays).

Absolutely. I can tailor class topics, recipes, and structure to fit your audience or event theme.

Both! You can book a single workshop or choose from several themed series. I'm happy to recommend a structure based on your audience.

Payment is typically due at time of service. Alternate arrangements can be discussed if needed.

Yes—discounted rates may be available for nonprofit organizations or multi-class bookings. Just ask!

I understand things come up! Please give as much notice as possible. A cancellation/reschedule policy can be discussed at the time of booking.

We take food allergies here at Culinary Creatives very seriously. All of our recipes are peanut and tree nut free as well as vegetarian. We're happy to work with each site to see what accommodations we can make for food allergies.

Yes. I am food safety certified and follow strict food safety practices. Kids are always supervised when handling tools or food.

Yes, but always approachable and fun! My focus is on real ingredients, food confidence, and building positive food experiences—especially for kids.
